Enclosed find copy of September 29, 1996 letter from you to me which may
help refresh your memory of our prior contact. For my own convenience, I
am transcribing this note to you on the web, but will be forwarding it
to you by regular mail. However, I am sending an E-mail copy to Mr.
Dwight Allen, 107 Yardley Court, Hendersonville, NC 28739 with whom I
undeerstand you may have had prior contact. We share a common ointerest
in Camp genealogy and have developed a small circle of those with
similar interest on the net. If you are on the net, You may choose to
join us. In any event, you may correspond with me either by regular
mail(SASE enclosed) or by E-mail( GO79@WebTv.net) as above. Dwight"s
E-mail is as above under copy.
At the moment, I am trying to tie up some loose ends in my geneaological
records and I was wondering whether you had made any progress in
authenticating whether the wife of Thomas Camp II was Mary Marshall or
not. My record shows that she was born 1697 in Westmoreland County,
Virginia and died 1757 in Culpepper, Halifax County, Virginia. She
married 1715-16 in Westmoreland County County, Virginia. Kindly update
me on your progress in this area.
Thank you for your past assistance. Thanks to you, I was able to
contact and join the Camp Family Association. Season's Greetings- Gary
P.S. Note to Dwight: I am sending thison to you and wll let you know
what the response is if it comes in a form where there is no copy to
you.
