I Recently recieved a pakage with some of my family history in it.
In it was some Mentioning of Nicholas Crantzdorf/Grindstaff.
Which it stated the following:
John Nichel Crantzdorf (1690) Boarded a ship named " The Thistle" In
Holland, Arrived in Philadelphia on Sept.19,1738.
His son Johann Michel(1728-1789) Brought his Family to North Carolina,
He died at the home of his Son Nicholas i,in Johnson County ,Tn. which was
likley at the time to have been Carter Co.,Tn.
Nicholas i Served in the Rev.war from N.C. His son Nicholas Jr.(1766-853)
married Mary Stout Daughter of Godfrey Daniel Stout(1750-1846) and wife
Catherine Boltzen Stout (1755-1842).

Then it has Christopher Christian Fritts(1808) Married to a Mary Polly
Grindstaff(1802) Would this Mary Polly be the Mary of Nicholas I?
Christopher and Mary had a daughter named Nancy who in turn Had a daughter
named Mary Kathleen,my gggggg grandmother.
Iam tring to piece all this together and hoped you all could help!
