QUICK ALLEN BEVERLY 5

Email From Gary Aden to Gary Aden
Email Dated 5/28/2001

Until I read Sally Hawkin's well-researched document, I had always
thought, based upon what I had been told, that he had been a minister by
occupation. Sally pointed out that the 1910 census listed him and Joseph
T. Burleson as farmers. Looking back on it, I really don't recall that
anyone had much to highlight about him. Someone said he had a nickname
so that he wouldn't be called Beverly, but they couldn't recall what it
was. I would be remiss in my promise if I didn't declare him the Victor
in the race to be the most prolific in our line. He and Eliza Jane had
twelve children, eleven of whom survived beyond infancy including their
seventh and  my Grandfather Beverly Joseph Barkley Allen(July 21, 1880
Lampasas County, Texas- October 22,1960 Parker City, Tarrant County,
Texas).
