          I shall digress by dispensing with the ordinal progression of my
pedigree line to discuss the family's Congressional Medal of Honor
Recipient who was Aaron's second son, Henry W.B. Mechling. Imagine being
my grandmother and hearing the tales this unce might have had to tell.
We are priviliged to have a first hand account of his heroic acts. His
genealogical data and autobiographical description of Custer's Last
